Our thanks go to those hearty souls who took time to clean up the Lodge grounds in early May. A leftover Easter egg was even discovered! While your efforts may have gone unmentioned, they DID NOT go unnoticed!
FIRST CHARITABLE TRUST SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

The Charles City Elks Charitable Trust awarded its first ever scholarships this year. Pictured are Kendall Cole of Mason City and Hunter Menken of Charles City. These two young people both received one-time scholarships of $500.00 from the Charitable Trust.
Kendall plans to attend Southern Illinoise University, Carbondale, while Hunter plans to attend the University of Iowa this fall. We wish both of these gentlemen luck as they continue their education!

The Charles City Elks honored several area youth at its annual Youth Banquet in May. Pictured below, the students who participated in the St. Joseph's Catholic School (New Hampton) Drug Awareness program arrived at the banquet in style!
